Polarn O. Pyret Spring Collection And A Whole Lot Of Love

Those who read my blog regularly will know that I am a huge Polarn O. Pyret (PO.P) fan, I just love their fun and funky children's clothes and Ben is more often than not dressed in some item or another of PO.P clothes. I love it when they bring out their new ranges and I am always keen to see what the new pattern each season will be. This Spring collection certainly did not disappoint with it's colourful robots, trucks, faces and elephants amongst other things. I have to say the robots are probably one of my favourite PO.P designs so far and Ben seems to agree asking to wear his robots practically every day.

Ben's fantastic new PO.P outfit
We were lucky enough to receive a package in the post last week containing a gorgeous outfit for Ben from the new PO.P Spring range which included a robot print top, green trousers and robot moccasins. I just love how this outfit looks on him and I have been very pleasantly surprised by Ben's reaction to the moccasins which he calls his "magic shoes" that help him "jump". He puts them on and instantly seems to run faster and jump higher than ever! Ben just loves wearing them and for once he actually willingly wears and leaves something on his feet while indoors. The great thing about the moccasins though is that they actually stay on unlike other slippers I have tried and failed to get Ben to wear in the past and they provide really good grip on our tiles stopping any accidental slips which can all to often happen when he just has socks on.

I heart Ben's moccasins
My love of PO.P clothes definitely goes beyond the fabulous designs though. I can honestly say, and testify to the fact, that I have never ever ironed any of Ben's PO.P clothes and that is not just because of my strong dislike of ironing but they really do not need to be ironed, honest! They are such great quality, I just throw them in a normal wash and they always come out looking as good as the day I bought them which is obvious by the fact that things like the neckline retain their shape and the colours and patterns remain bright and unaffected by washing. I have also found that Ben gets heaps of wear out of his PO.P clothes, the long sleeved tops all have sleeves with cuffs which I find great as they can be rolled up at the start when they are a little long and as Ben grows I can roll them down which gives months of extra wear while the trousers all have expandable waists and the ends can be rolled up. Once Ben does grow out of any of his tops or trousers I am never short of willing friends to hand them down to and as the designs are mostly unisex they suit boys and girls alike which my friends with little girls are very pleased about :).

Ben is a very boisterous boy and is always climbing and running about, he likes nothing better than a trip to the park and scaling the climbing frame and the slide. In this cold weather dressing him warm is a must but he really hates restrictive clothes so it can pose a bit of a challenge as I want him to be warn yet in breathable comfortable clothes that allow him to play without overheating as his activity levels rise. Thankfully though I find PO.P outwear really great, Ben has a PO.P fleece jacket which keeps him really warm and cosy yet gives him the freedom to climb and play to the extreme. They also do a fantastic range of waterproofs which given Ben's recent attraction to puddles and splashing I may have to think about investing in soon.

Ben cosy and warm in his fleece
So as you can probably tell by now I have major love for all things PO.P and with good reason. This fantastic Swedish range of clothes which is available online and in stores around the UK and Ireland are a fabulous addition to any child's wardrobe not just because of how great they look but because of their superb quality, functionality and clever design.  I really do believe every child's wardrobe should have some PO.P in it!

*Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post. I received an outfit from PO.P but this has in no way biased my opinion - I love PO.P clothes and have done so for a long time!
