Feeling All-Bran New - #RealMumsAllBran

Over the past five days I have been taking the All-Bran 5-Day Challenge which involved having one of three different All-Bran cereals every morning.


The varieties include Golden Crunch, Red Berry Crunch and Chocolate Wheats, yes you read that right, I said chocolate. The All-Bran range really does have something for everyone - from classic flakes to indulgent clusters - each with the digestive health benefits to make you feel happy inside.

Did you know that 90 to 95 per cent of the ‘happy’ hormone serotonin is made in the gut? A study* of 1,000 UK women found 52 per cent experience digestive complaints, such as bloating or gas, at least once a week. Eating fibre everyday is a simple remedy for happy tums!

Taste Test

The golden crunch is delicious, so much so it's hard to stop at one bowl. My second favourite is the Red Berry Crunch, the dried strawberries are very yummy. I know this may come as a shock but the chocolate didn't really appeal to anyone in my family, not even Ben who I allowed try it as a treat.


The Challenge

The challenge was to see whether I would feel better after eating all bran every morning for five days. For starters, it made me actually have a breakfast instead of just my usual rushed coffee while I get the twins and Ben's breakfast sorted which was a good thing. It certainly stopped my reaching for sugary snacks or sneaky sweets for the rest of the morning. I definitely felt better and was well fuelled for running around after the twins and Ben until lunchtime. The fact I have already bought another box of All-Bran Golden Crunch pretty much speaks for itself - I definitely recommend these delicious cereals, they have made me feel All-Bran new.
