The New Fisher Price Feeding Range

Over the past few weeks the twins have been putting the new Fisher Price Feeding range which is exclusive to Boots to the test. We were sent some very funky heat sensitive colour changing bowls, spoons, bendy spoons and cups.

Heat Sensitive Bowls

First up the Heat Sensitive bowls, I love their clever technology which reassures me visually that I am not serving any meals too hot. The bowls are orange when cold and turn yellow when the contents are too hot - how cool is that? The twins agree that these bowls are fantastic but their reasoning is based on the fact that they make great hats. They are suitable from 4 months so make great first weaning bowls. They are also dishwasher safe which is always an important factor for me.

Learn to Hold and Soft Grip Spoons

Next up are the spoons, we were sent two types - Learn to Hold and Soft Grip. The Learn to Hold spoons have long bendy handles which make them ideal first self feeding spoons as they can be shaped to fit around your baby's hand making them easy to pick up and use. They are suitable for babies 4 months plus.

The others which my four year old (and I) think are awesome are the cool Soft Grip vegetable shaped spoons - green bean, orange carrot, red tomato and yellow corn on the cob. They are not only fun to look at but prefect for little hands to use and chew on too like my teething pair do. They have quickly become my choice of feeding spoons for the twins as they hold a really nice amount and feel good t use most likely due to their deep scoop. They are suitable for 9 months plus and both sets of spoons like all the Fisher Price range are BPA free.

Stack 'n Store Sippy Cup

Finally the Stack 'n Store cups. I love the fact they are truly stackable as with two sets of baby feeding and drinking paraphernalia required they are threatening to take over my kitchen cupboards and I have fallen victim to more than one cup and bowl related avalanche.

Theses Sippy cups have easy to grasp handles which Zachary and Zoey find easy to hold. I also like the fact that the handles can be removed as your baby grows and their needs change. They have a soft spout mouth-piece which is ideal if moving from bottle to cup and the cup is also leak free which we have put to the test on more than one occasion.
The cups are well designed and thought out with interchangeable bases, lids and handles and I am especially delighted to say, no separate valve piece which definitely makes cleaning a whole lot easier for me. We love the colours - pink and yellow for Zoey and blue and green for Zachary although these can be mixed and matched. They are BPA free and suitable from six months and available in six fluid capacity.

Conclusion

We love the new Fisher Price feeding range, all the products we were sent are extremely well made and designed. The have become my chosen bowls, spoons and cups for the twins and have replaced the previous products I used. I should also mention they have been through the dishwasher every day since I started using them and they always come out perfect. I can highly recommend the range.
