This weeks theme for
The Gallery is "Food". I wasn't sure until the very last minute what my take on this theme would be so I hope you like what I have gone with. I am sharing not one, but two photos which make me smile when I look at them and remember what Ben was doing when they were taken.
This is a photo from the very first time Ben ate solid food. I still remember how excited we were about it, it seemed like such a big milestone as he had been exclusively breastfed up until then. Looking back now, I am very glad that we thought to capture this moment in a picture and because it was an iPhone snap, I can pinpoint the exact date and time: the 8th March 2010 at 19:22:47.

He certainly has come a long way since then and happily tucks into most things he is given, often doing a little dance and singing while he does like in this photo. Mealtimes are more often than not brightened up by a very cheerful Ben who loves his food.

Awww very sweet first picture. I loved the weaning stage even though it was really messy. Ben looks like he is really enjoying his smiley faces!

Yep, still remember these first solid meals too! :) He looks very happy with his meal in the second photo!
What a lovely post! I particularly liked the fact that you could pinpoint exactly when photo of your gorgeous baby boy was taken exactly (appeals to the geek within).
