This weeks theme for
The Gallery is "The Everyday". It got me thinking about those everyday things that happen without fail, time and time again, each and every day of the week. These are the things that sometimes drive me nuts but, nevertheless, I know deep down I would quickly start to miss them if they didn't happen.
One of the everyday things that happens in my life is that I end up making our bed at least twice a day and that's if I'm lucky. This is all because a certain little toddler insists on scrambling up on the bed to throw the "boulders" (pillows) down the "canyon" (on to the floor). There is seldom a day that passes without this happening. I complain about it most days but, in all honesty it usually makes me smile despite my grumbling about "having to make the bed again" - it's hard not to smile when I see Ben having so much fun playing his game. It is definitely part of "the everyday" things in our life, our days just wouldn't be the same without it.

Lovely photos and that does look like a lot of fun. Might not introduce the idea to my little boy or I think I'd have the same bed-making schedule on my hands.
This has made me laugh out loud as I also make the bed twice a day and I am less patient than you. It drives me nuts. Btw I *love* the colour scheme in your bedroom. More pics of that please. Obviously Ben is cute too ;)

We don't even bother making beds in this house for exactly this reason!
