Review of Lindy Active Noise Cancelling Headphones

I was delighted when I was asked to review a set of Lindy Noise Cancelling Headphones for Best British Bloggers as I knew they would be ideal for when Ben drops off for a little nap in my arms and I get the chance to use my iPad to catch up on some shows on demand or listen to music which just doesn't happen often enough these days. I was also interested to see how these reasonably priced headphones would compare to the ├╝ber expensive ones my husband has.

In the packaging
When I opened the packaging I was immediately impressed at how small and compact the headset is when folded up which is ideal if you want to pop them in your bag to use on the train, aeroplane etc. In the past I have used noise cancelling headphones and have found them uncomfortable, ill fitting and not truly noise cancelling but I am happy to say this was not the case with the Lindy set. The earpads are really well cushioned and comfortable as is the headband part. They are easily adjustable to suit different sized heads. The controls to switch on noise cancelling and adjust the volume are easy to use. I also like the fact that the cable is single sided and detatchable. The only thing I had a problem with was figuring out which was right or left but when Ben got his hands on them and removed the earpad cushion I found the L was underneath which leads me to mention they survived a Ben extreme toddler stress test which is a feat in itself ;).

..and out complete with carry bag, in-flight adapter, 1.2m cable, and 6.3mm stereo adapter
Now for the sound quality. Firstly I tested the headphones for sound quality with noise cancelling turned off and had a listen to some music on my iPhone and I was very happy with the sound which was really clear and crisp. My next test was to try the noise cancelling and in the absense of any opportunity to try them out on an aeroplane I tested them on the tube and I have to say they worked a treat to cancel out the noise around me which made my journey very enjoyable. One of my pet hates when I am on the tube is having to listen to irritating noise leakage from other peoples headphones so this was definitely something I wanted to test the Lindy headphones for. I found that when used at a reasonable level there was no leakage whatsoever however if on maximum volume there was some but it was still not bad and in fact when I compared them with my husbands ridiculously expensive ones the Lindy headphones were a lot better and quieter on sound leakage.

Overall I am very impressed with Lindy Noise Cancelling Headphones, the are comfortable and easy to wear, compact to carry and come with a handy carry bag, in-flight adapter, 1.2m cable, and 6.3mm stereo adapter, the sound quality is great, noise cancelling works and they are extremely reasonably priced at just £39.99 which compared to similar headphones is a fantastic price. The other great thing about them is because they are nice and compact they don't look oversized and silly to wear which I find a lot of noise cancelling headphones do on me. I highly recommend these headphones and already know I will get a lot of use out of them.

I have a feeling I will get a lot of use out of these!
*Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post. I received the Lindy Active Noise Cancelling Headphones in exchange for a review but this has in no way biased my opinion - I think they are a great product!

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .

of the expenses. But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using Movable-type on numerous websites for about a year and am anxious about switching
to another platform. I have heard good things about blogengine.

Gday, I'm new to blogging and internet sites in general and was wondering how you got the "www" included in your web address name? I see your domain name, "http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=1622029460056518255&postID=2160603770369541769" has the www and my domain looks like, "http://mydomain.com". Do you know the best way I can alter this? I'm using Wordpress platform.
Thanks a ton
