The Gallery: Travel

This weeks theme for The Gallery is Travel. I took this picture of Ben shortly after we had boarded an aeroplane for a flight last March. Ben had flown three times before this but this was the first time he actually knew he was on an aeroplane. It was one of those milestone moments when I realised just how much he understands about the things in his world.

In the picture he is excitedly pointing at the other aeroplanes he can see around us and the wings of ours. Since that trip every time he hears an aeroplane or a helicopter he looks to the sky, points and says 'plane' or 'copter'.

I didn't get round to doing the gallery this week, but I was thinking on similar lines, one of my boy aged nearly two looking at aeroplanes from the airport window.
Love the concentration on his face!

Your pic sounds very similar - lovely having pics like that to look back on isn't it!
