The Gallery: Grandparents

This is my first time taking part in The Gallery. I think it's a wonderful idea and have enjoyed seeing other Gallery posts for quite some time now so a big thank you goes to Tara at Sticky Fingers for bringing it alive.

This weeks theme for the Gallery is Grandparents. I took this photo of Ben in my moms arms with my Grandad on my last visit to Ireland in May. Ben was sharing his chocolate buttons with his Great Grandad. I don't get back very often but when I do and my Grandad sees Ben he can't stop smiling. It makes me happy to see his smile. This is a picture I will treasure forever.

Definitely - photos keep memories alive forever. It's great that things like camera phones make it so easy to take pictures nowadays. X

Grandparents are so incredibly special. I so wish my daughter had my dad here, he would have completely adored her.
