Please can I have my hairdryer back Ben?

Ben is obsessed with my hairdryer. This means that after I have survived a scalding hot shower caused by a very wilful toddler who likes to turn the cold tap on the bath on, I have the battle of the hairdryer to look forward to. I really do wish my hair didn't turn into such a frizzy mess without the aid of the dryer.

Today saw Ben tugging on the cord to try and yank it out of my hand, hugging on to my leg so tight he nearly cut off the circulation, pinching, crying, flinging things about and so on, I'm sure you get the picture. I gave up half way through, set it on cold and gave it to him. So now my hair's a crazy mess but Ben's a happy boy. The joys of motherhood!

Mine have taken to hiding under the duvet whilst I dry my hair... at least I haven't had to share the hairdryer with them yet

Good to meet you and your blog

Lol! Ben loves the dyson as well - another thing we do battle over ;). I think it's anything with buttons that makes a sound. Everything has potential for fun to an inquisitive toddler minds if you ask me!

Good to hear. My 20-month son loves my hair dryer. I was worried about it because I thought it might be a fixation indicating autism but it sounds like a common toddler interest.
