Nappy Brain

The term 'Nappy Brain' always amused me and to be honest I was a little bit sceptical that it was real however now it has hit me with a bang I am in no doubt that it is not a very real condition.

I used to have a brilliant memory before becoming a mummy. I would always remember the things I needed to pick up when I went to the shops, important dates like birthdays and anniversaries, the details of conversations I had enjoyed and plots of the films I had watched. Not anymore. Now I have entered the fabulous realm of motherhood things have started to escape my memory. It can be frustrating at times so I have decided that I will have to start writing shopping and 'To Do' lists (well make notes in my iPhone) and set alerts for anything important.

For now I'm blaming my changed sleeping patterns and I'm sure my normal efficient brain will return one of these days. To any mums out there - it will won't it?

errrr in a word, no!!!
I have left the car with a flat battery 2x this week as 1x left interior light on, another time left parking light on, I have a 2.5 yr old and am pregnant.
That brain, never coming back I fear. Thank god for lists otherwise I would never know what I was doing!!!
